Generations Lost Exhibit

In honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Tikinagan Training Unit has organized the Generations Lost Exhibit.

This exhibition is the condensed version of the 100 Years of Loss exhibit and is designed to be light weight and easy to assemble making it a great exhibit for educators, communities, and organizations. The unique features, such as the timeline on wavy wall and the themed unique pillars, make this exhibit popular.

We hope you take this time to reflect on the impact Residential “schools” has had on the people we serve. We would also like to acknowledge that many of our coworkers, friends, and family have been directly impacted. This material can be very triggering, please reach out to someone you trust, and know you are not alone.

Please check out the exhibit in the Tikinagan Training Center (Sioux Lookout) from Monday, September 25, 2023 to Thursday, September 28, 2023.

For anyone in need of support, the National Indian Residential School Crisis Line is available at 1-866-925-4419.
