Kasiah is a youth in care with many strengths. She also has many siblings, loves make-up, photography, exercise, and family activities like road trips and nacho nights. Kasiah is a youth learning to advocate for herself and is looking forward to a bright future.
During the month of May we celebrate Children and Youth in Care Day (all month). The goals of Children and Youth in Care Day are to:
acknowledge the strengths of children and youth in and from care,
increasing community participation, so that children and youth in and from care feel supported and thrive and,
destigmatize views about children and youth in and from care by increasing public awareness and understanding.
