MEMO: Staff Portal Logins

Since the launch of our new website and Staff Portal, we have made the sign-in process easier and improved the user experience while prioritizing online security. Until now, part time, casual or other staff without a @Tikinagan.org e-mail have been unable to access our Staff Portal.

Today, we are excited to announce we are testing a pilot program that will allow all staff to access our agency news, memos, resources, and documents stored on the Staff Portal via the “Sign In with Microsoft” feature.

What is the “Sign In with Microsoft” feature?

In order to access the Staff Portal, users must secure their accounts. Staff with an agency e-mail must use their same e-mail and password to login using this feature. Staff without an agency e-mail will receive an e-mail invitation to be granted access before using this feature.

What to expect

Initial testing confirms that those who are invited will still have to meet the same requirements as the rest of the staff when it comes to securing their accounts, which they will be prompted to setup when they accept an invitation from our IT department (see downloaded memo for example at the bottom of this post).

Once completed, staff must enter their personal email address and the corresponding code from their cell phone or email when prompted at login.

Watch our Training Video for a real-live demo that shows you how to login and access all the features of the Staff Portal.

Timeline for Roll out

The pilot program, which will begin today, will start with Case Aides. Shortly after, we will provide access to the remaining agency staff. This will help our IT Team address any issues or bugs we encounter with the process.
