Tikinagan is implementing a new incentive program for all Health and Safety Representatives that have participated as members for three consecutive years (36 months).

Effective April 1st, 2023, each member that has served as a Health and Safety Representative for three (3) years or more, will receive a one-time payment of $1500.

For employees who are currently Health and Safety Representatives your first day joined will be used, to ensure you meet the three-year requirement.

For any new members who become Health and Safety Representatives, this incentive will be paid at the completion of 3 years (36 Months) of service, from the first day you joined.

You must also be actively employed to receive this incentive and maintain certification.
Christina Zatorsky, Property Supervisor and Michelle Loveday, Health & Safety Coordinator will review to see which committee representatives qualify for the incentive as of April 1st, 2023 and will submit cheque requisitions to the Finance Unit for processing of payment.

This incentive will be payable every three years from your start date as a Health & Safety member/representative.

We appreciate the employees who have dedicated their time to the Health and Safety Committees. We look forward to new members joining one of the Health & Safety committees for vacancies within the agency. This may involve taking Part 1 & Part 2 of the Joint Health & Safety course.
