Tikinagan Child and Family Services is holding its 2021 Annual Chiefs Assembly on October 6. Due to the continuing pandemic, this year the agency will be having a virtual meeting. Chiefs are encouraged to attend this year’s assembly to hear Tikinagan’s Annual Report on activities and exciting developments in 2019 – 2020 & 2020 – 2021 as well as the agency’s future plans.
It is recommended that the Chief attend the virtual assembly, as important information will be presented regarding child welfare and important decisions made which affect services provided to families and children in each First Nation. However, as per Tikinagan’s bylaws, proxies can be appointed in writing.
