Niigaanshkaawin Announces their Online Information Session

On Monday, July 6, 2026 at 1pm CST / 2pm EST, our Niigaanshkaawin team will be holding an online session for members from Tikinagan’s 29 First Nations to attend, including Chief & Council, First Nation (Band) Representatives, technicians, Elders, Youth, community members, and Tikinagan staff.

This online information session will support the ongoing planning and preparation toward the implementation of the Ontario Final Agreement (OFA) and the long-term reform of the First Nation Child and Family Services Program. In this information session, Niigaanshkaawin will share our ᑫᔭᓂᔑᑐᒋᑲᑌᐠ | Keyaniishidoojikaadeg (Approach) to the OFA and receive input on how communities would like to engage to co-develop their Child & Community Wellbeing Plan.
