RE: Reminder on Employment Priority and Second Jobs

We appreciate the dedication and hard work each of you contributes to Tikinagan Child and Family Services. As part of our commitment to maintaining high performance and productivity, we want to remind all employees that your full-time position with Tikinagan must remain your primary employment commitment.

While we understand that some employees may choose to pursue secondary employment, it is essential that these roles do not interfere with your duties, responsibilities, or performance at the agency. Your availability, focus, and energy must be fully aligned with your full-time position at the agency during scheduled work hours.

Please ensure that any secondary employment:

  • Does not conflict with Tikinagan at your scheduled work hours or availability.
  • Does not negatively impact Tikinagan on your performance or productivity.
  • Does not create a conflict of interest with Tikinagan.

Policy 2.6 Conflict of Interest can be further reviewed for definition of potential conflict.

If you currently hold or are considering secondary employment, you need to ensure alignment with the Conflict of Interest Policy.

All secondary employment must be declared by the employee and approved by the agency .

If you have any questions, you can contact your Supervisor and/or contact the HR Department via email at Human_Resources@tikinagan.org.

Thank you for your cooperation.
