RE: Ice Cleat Program (Health and Safety Policy) – Amendment to Reimbursement
Hello,
Tikinagan Child and Family Services started the Ice Cleat Program many years ago to encourage all employees including casual relief workers to be safe during the winter months.
Currently the program only allows a one-time reimbursement of up to $20 for the purchase of ice cleats.
Effective January 1st, 2025, the Agency will now be offering a reimbursement of $20 to all employees every 5 years.
How to Submit for Reimbursement
Pay for the ice cleats and keep your receipt.
Print your name on the front of the receipt.
Fill out a Request for Reimbursement/ Cheque Requisition – General (also known as a General Cheque Requisition).
Submit the completed form with the original receipt to Human Resources (human_resources@tikinagan.org). Once approved, Human Resources will forward to Finance to be processed for payment.
