RE: Healthy Lifestyle/Wellness Program – Increase in Amount

Tikinagan Child and Family Services started the Healthy Lifestyle/Wellness Program in July 2017 to encourage employees to live a healthy and active lifestyle. The Agency was able to offer a reimbursement incentive for employees to purchase fitness activities/memberships, fitness equipment, healthy promoting devices/apps and entries to marathons, bicycles, sport watches, hiking boots, etc.

Currently, the limit for reimbursement is $200 per fiscal year (April 1st to March 31st).

Effective April 1, 2023, the reimbursement limit will be increased to $350 per fiscal year.

Information on the Healthy Lifestyle program will be available on the Shared Drive in the Health & Safety > Health & Wellness folder.
